Like many women today, my life seems to move at the speed of sound. Mine frequently takes me from the desk to the mucky, muddy outdoors in a blink of an eye.  I have long looked for a shoe that was comfortable and lightweight enough to wear all day, yet could withstand my frequent trips to the boat dock, the dog training fields, or my favorite hiking path, and keep my feet dry. Muck’s new Breezy Cool line fills the bill in every aspect. 

A long time Muck Boot afficionado, I mentioned to the Muck representative at the ATA trade show this spring that I loved every pair of muck footwear that I owned, but there were just times that I wanted a nice, lightweight, waterproof slip on shoe for wearing around the  house and running around outdoors.

I wanted an “everyday” shoe that performed as well as my Muck boots.

I explained that I needed something sturdy, with good traction, and waterproof to protect my feet. I needed a comfortable and cool shoe that would work well in the early morning dew at lake’s edge training dogs and that could easily transition to the slimy, sweltering, deck of a bowfishing boat. I whined that I also wanted it to be comfortable enough to wear all day while flitting back and forth from my outside pursuits to my office.

It wasn’t long, and a lovely pair of Breezy Low Cool shoes from Muck arrived on my doorstep.

Like every product from Muck, the Breezy Low Cool shoes are bedroom slipper comfortable right out of the box. No break in period required. 

The fit was true to size, and immediately upon donning the Breezy Low Cool shoes my feet said AHHHH thanks to the cushy insole. They also proved to be equally comfortable with or without socks due to the etc®Anti Friction Sockliner.

The Muck Boots Women’s' Breezy Low Cool Muck shoe is now my wear every day shoe. They perform great during early morning dog training sessions in wet grass and lake edges, the mud and muck rinses off quickly and easily  making them quickly clean and attractive for trips into town for meetings and errands.  The rubber pods provide optimal traction and support, preventing me from slipping and sliding around on frosty grass or wet autumn leaves.  The sturdy and easily cleaned outers protect my feet from all sorts of sharp and injurious objects that tend to ended up landing on ones feet when hiking through the trails to view autumn color.  Most of all, my feet stay cool and dry on the very warm days of Indian summer, yet also stay toasty warm on during those chilly early traning sessions. Even the occasional dip into shallow water the shoe dries extremely fast, and there’s no more soggy foot syndrome.

Bottom line: My feet stay dry, cool, comfortable and protected, and the stylish look makes these shoes equally as acceptable at the library, in my office,  ballgames, and running errands around town, as they are on a boat or a hiking trail.  Five stars for this newest addition the wonderful Muck Boot line up of foot wear for women in the outdoors. I highly recommend these to any woman who spends her days in bouncing back and forth between the  indoors and outside wet conditions whether it be gardening, fishing, dog training, or just running around creek side – these are the shoes you want!
